Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma accepted.
• Two years in a social service environment or related government work when possible.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Gather data for all relevant assistance programs face-to-face or via phone with clients.
• Verify information is complete and meets state policies.
• Obtain release forms and medical records as needed.
• Verify income, assets, and other financial documents.
• Review regulations and program requirements with clients.
• Utilize automated program to determine eligibility of state programs.
• Enter data into the state database.
• Respond to inquiries via phone or email in a timely manner.
