Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Counseling or Social Services, or HS diploma as alternative
• 2 years' experience in a social service environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and data-entry abilities

Responsabilités

• Gather data for all relevant assistance programs with clients
• Verify information meets state policies
• Obtain release forms and medical records as needed
• Verify income, assets, and financial documents
• Explain regulations and program requirements to clients
• Use automated system to determine eligibility
• Enter data into the state database
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email
