Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Scheduler I to support the Psychiatry Department at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. This is an on-site role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The position coordinates scheduling for patient procedures and services, handling patient intake, data entry, and status updates. Collaboration with the Access Center is required to ensure timely access and billing accuracy.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsabilidades

• Registers new and established outpatients upon arrival and collects co-payments with accurate data entry.
• Statuses appointments at check-in and ensures proper charging and posting.
• Provides patients with status updates on wait times and changes, and monitors waiting areas.
• Collaborates with LHMC Access Center to schedule patients and create access.
• Manages scheduling queues and recalls by calling patients to set appointments.
