Job summary

Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced patient access or call center setting.
Ability to explain registration steps and gather financial and demographic information.
Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Register patients for visits, explain the process, and respond to questions.
Process co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due, safeguarding payments.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using multiple information sources.
Identify and communicate issues affecting scheduling timeliness and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of patient information.
