Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Registers all new and established outpatients upon arrival, verifying, collecting co-payments, and updating required information with high accuracy.
• Statuses all appointments at the time of check-in and ensures end-of-day statusing for proper charges.
• Rounds with patients in waiting areas and provides status updates on wait times and changes.
• Monitors waiting areas for cleanliness and appearance.
• Collaborates with the Access Center at LHMC to schedule patients and create access.
• Schedules multiple appointments in proper sequence within appropriate time frames.
