Herc Rentals’ ProSales Associate program is designed for early-career professionals aiming to build a long-term sales career. You will join the Black and Gold Academy, receive training in selling skills, account management, and territory planning, and shadow experienced sales leaders in the field.

The program targets readiness for a Territory Sales Representative role, with coaching toward future advancement in sales leadership within a Fortune 1000 organization.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of sales experience or relevant customer-facing experience.
• Recent graduates or early-career candidates encouraged to apply.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
• Interest in a long-term sales career with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Herc Rentals’ Black and Gold Academy, a structured sales development program.
• Receive training in professional selling skills, account management, territory planning, and customer engagement.
• Learn Herc Rentals’ full product and service portfolio across equipment and specialties.
• Shadow Territory Sales Representatives in the field to observe customer interactions.
• Visit customer sites with experienced sales leaders to understand project needs and equipment applications.
• Assist with customer outreach, lead generation, and supporting revenue growth in the territory.
• Learn core branch operations, equipment processes, logistics coordination, and customer service.
• Gain exposure to Industrial Services, National Accounts, Entertainment Services, and Energy Services.
• Build foundational understanding of the equipment rental industry and Herc Rentals’ business model.
• Prepare for full-time placement into a Territory Sales Representative role and pursue leadership opportunities.
