Job summary

Progress Residential, L.P. is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service and maintenance operations for occupied single-family rental homes.

You will manage a portfolio, coordinate vendors, ensure compliance with HUD/HQS standards, and drive resident satisfaction across assigned regions. You will lead a team, monitor performance, and partner with the Service Director and Portfolio Operations Director to optimize workflows and costs while upholding safety and quality standards across

Qualifications

• 5+ years in service, operations, or maintenance management in multi-family or single-family housing.
• EPA certification to handle refrigerants.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to work flexible hours.
• Knowledge of HUD/HQS requirements.
• Experience with vendor management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service jobs and preventative maintenance for occupied homes.
• Review vendor pricing and invoices for completed work.
• Provide technical support to service technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.
• Ensure training compliance for the service team.
• Maintain resident satisfaction and timely response to requests.
• Coordinate Housing Choice Program inspections and related compliance tasks.
