Job summary

Progress Residential is a nationwide property manager of single-family rental homes, known for a people-first culture and certified as a Great Place to Work®. The Service Manager role leads the service and maintenance operations across occupied homes and works with vendors to ensure timely, quality repairs.

You will manage inspections, track performance, and drive resident satisfaction while maintaining safety standards and adherence to program requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience managing service, operations and maintenance in multi-family, single family, military housing or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA certified to handle refrigerants.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Available to work flexible hours including some weekends/evenings.
• Able to review cost estimates and scopes of work with knowledge of current labor rates.

Responsibilities

• Manage Service jobs to provide outstanding customer service and timely resolution for residents in occupied homes.
• Provide leadership over an assigned area and supervise service team.
• Review vendor pricing, invoices and warranties; ensure compliance with policies.
• Support service technicians with diagnosis and repair guidance.
• Ensure training is completed timely for the team and supervise compliance with training programs.
• Coordinate semi-annual home inspections to improve resident satisfaction and control costs.
