Job summary

Invitation Homes in Florida seeks a Superintendent to manage full-cycle rehab and turnover of homes, coordinating with residents, vendors, and the leasing team to ensure timely move-ins and high-quality workmanship.

The role requires OSHA 10, 2+ years of project management, and a solid background in residential construction, with strong communication and customer-service skills. Willingness to travel within the portfolio is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have OSHA 10 certification or obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum two years of project management experience with budgets, timelines and quality of work.
• Experience with residential construction including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, drywall, and flooring.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Meet with residents for Pre Move-Out Visits and document home condition.
• Conduct Resident Orientations to welcome residents and explain systems and policies.
• Perform Move Out Inspections and prepare scope of work and charges.
• Oversee rehab/turn process with contractors, submit change orders, ensure on-schedule work.
• Notify Leasing Team of completion delays affecting move-in dates.
• Monitor job site safety during project visits.
• Negotiate repairs with vendors and General Contractors per standards.
• May perform occupancy checks and eviction-related coordination with law enforcement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
