Job summary

Invitation Homes LP is seeking a Superintendent to oversee full-cycle rehab and turnover of occupied homes in the Dallas area. You will manage inspections, scope creation, vendor coordination, and budget adherence while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will travel within the assigned portfolio, work weekends/holidays as needed, and collaborate with leasing and maintenance teams to minimize move-in delays. OSHA 10 and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification required or within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum two years of project management experience across multiple projects, budgets, timelines and quality of work.
• Knowledge of residential construction including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, drywall and flooring; familiarity with local building codes.
• Experience negotiating with and managing contractors to complete work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with residents for Pre Move-Out Visits and document home condition and responsibilities.
• Meet incoming residents for Resident Orientations and explain systems and maintenance policies.
• Conduct Move Out Inspections and prepare scope of work and cost recovery estimates.
• Oversee rehab and turn processes, coordinate with contractors, submit change orders and document progress with photos.
• Communicate delays to Leasing Team that may affect move-in dates.
• Ensure job site safety during project visits.
