Job summary

J&A, Inc. is seeking a Site Manager for an on-site role at a Mississippi apartment community. You will oversee leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and compliance with HUD, LIHTC, RD, and ADA requirements, ensuring fiscal and physical soundness.

The position requires live-on-site arrangement, strong communication, and ability to coordinate with Regional Manager. Duties include supervising staff, maintaining records, and emergency coverage.

Qualifications

• Introductory knowledge of HUD, RD, LIHTC guidelines and IRS rules for assigned property.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent, plus LIHTC/property management training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi/Real Page).

Responsibilities

• Lease negotiations, renewals, and occupancy management per regulations.
• Rent collection, deposits, and timely reporting to corporate office.
• On-site staff supervision and vendor management for maintenance.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and pest control across property.
• Record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with HUD, LIHTC and RD rules.
• Attend corporate meetings and provide emergency on-call coverage.
