Job summary

J&A, Inc. is seeking a Site Manager to oversee all property operations at an apartment complex, ensuring compliance with HUD, Tax Credit, USDA Rural Development, Fair Housing, ADA, and related regulatory requirements.

The role requires coordinating leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and administrative tasks while communicating challenges to the Regional Manager in a timely manner. The Site Manager will supervise maintenance staff, ensure up-to-date income certifications, and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in LIHTC property management
• Knowledge of HUD, RD, and LIHTC guidelines
• Good knowledge of safety regulations and building codes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Leasing activities: respond to inquiries, show vacancies, verify income and eligibility.
• Rent collections: collect and post deposits, post rents, manage notices.
• Administration: manage office opening, enforce leases, on-site presence for emergencies.
• Property maintenance: supervise maintenance staff, coordinate inspections and repairs.
• Record-keeping/reporting: maintain tenant ledgers, report incidents, summarize monthly operations.
• Other duties: meet tenants, disaster planning, assist Regional Manager
