Job summary

The Scion Group seeks a General Manager for a student living property to lead daily operations, staff development and financial performance. You will drive guest experience, ensure compliance, and steward assets while building high-performance teams.

In this role you will balance staffing, maintenance, vendor management and revenue targets in a fast-paced, collegiate environment with a focus on delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communicator.
• Good time management and prioritization.
• Vendor management experience.
• Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• 3+ years’ experience managing living communities and teams.
• Proficiency with property management systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Staff Development and Leadership: partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to attract, hire, train and lead team members.
• Property Administration: respond to community needs, policy guidance, and onsite emergencies with partners.
• Facilities & Capital: ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained environments; manage capital projects and permits.
• Annual Turnover Process: plan staff and vendor turnover; align with turnover deadlines and budgets.
• Financial Performance: collaborate on budgets, expenditures, revenue targets and cost control.
• Customer Experience & Sales: uphold Scion’s customer experience philosophy and drive resident satisfaction and revenue targets.
