Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a General Manager to lead a thriving, guest-focused community in a fast-paced, collegiate environment. This role combines strategic business management with hands-on leadership across operations, staffing, and financial performance.

You will drive customer experience, property administration, and facilities excellence while partnering with HR and Legal to ensure compliance and strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing living communities and a team of 3+
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred)
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Staff Development and Leadership: recruit, train, and mentor team; schedule staffing including on-call shifts; boost morale through data-driven engagement.
• Property Administration: manage market conditions, policies, procedures, and emergencies; coordinate with Legal for vendor management and contracts.
• Facilities & Capital: ensure safe, clean, and compliant facilities; conduct monthly inspections; identify capital needs and manage bids and approvals.
• Annual Turnover Process: plan and execute turnover timelines; coordinate with Talent Acquisition; manage budgets and timelines.
• Financial Performance: align with departments to budget, control expenses, and seek revenue opportunities; use financial tools for reporting.
• Customer Experience & Sales: uphold Scion’s customer experience standards; monitor feedback and drive improvements; work toward revenue targets.
