Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead a vibrant student living community. You will drive operations, financial performance and guest experience while coaching a team to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities include staffing, budget management, turnover, vendor relations, and implementing Scion standards to maximize occupancy and NOI. Travel to properties may be required; daytime hours with on-call sharing.

• 3+ years managing living communities and a team of 3+.
• Proficient in Entrata or other property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Staff Development and Leadership: attract, hire and lead exceptional team members; schedule staffing including after-hours on-call shifts.
• Property Administration: oversee market conditions, policies, procedures and emergencies; collaborate with Legal on vendor contracts.
• Facilities & Capital: ensure safe, sanitary, well-maintained community spaces; manage permits and capital projects.
• Annual Turnover Process: plan and execute turnover with teams; manage budgets and timelines; coordinate with Talent Acquisition.
• Financial Performance: assist in budgets, expenditures and revenue targets; identify revenue opportunities and cost controls.
• Customer Experience & Sales: uphold customer experience philosophy, monitor feedback, drive leasing velocity and renewals.
