Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a General Manager to lead a property team in a fast-paced, collegiate environment. You will drive operating, expense and revenue performance while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will partner with talent acquisition, HR and operations to hire, train and retain top talent, ensure compliance and maintain strong vendor relationships. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communicator.
• 3+ years' experience managing living communities and a team of 3+.
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred).

Responsibilities

• Staff development and leadership: hire, train and lead high-performing teams.
• Property administration: manage market, conditions, policies and emergencies with partner departments.
• Facilities & Capital: oversee safe facilities and capital project execution with stakeholders.
• Annual Turnover Process: plan and execute turnover with teams and vendors to meet deadlines.
• Financial Performance: assist with budgets, expenditures and revenue targets.
• Customer Experience & Sales: uphold customer experience standards and drive occupancy and revenue.
