SATELLITE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ASSOCIATES PROPERTY MANAGEMENT in Oakland seeks a Property Manager to oversee two properties and supervise on-site staff. You will mentor junior team members and work with the Resident Services Coordinator to foster a supportive environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience is required.
• Affordable housing and/or property management experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of affordable housing programs (e.g. Tax Credit, HUD, Section 8) is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work with diverse residents and staff and de-escalate conflicts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of two Oakland properties and supervision of on-site staff.
• Mentor assigned junior staff and collaborate with Resident Services Coordinator to support residents.
• Ensure property is well-maintained within operating and financial policies; comply with regulatory and investor requirements.
• Support other managers in SAHA's portfolio and participate in special projects as needed.
