Job summary

SATELLITE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ASSOCIATES is seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee operations at Madison at 14th Street Apartments in Oakland, CA. This role focuses on tenant relations, budgetary oversight, and coordination with service and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality property management.

The position requires supervisory experience, knowledge of affordable housing programs, and strong communication skills, with a typical 40-hour workweek from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with affordable housing programs (Tax Credit, HUD, Section 8) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Assistant Property Manager and coordinate with the Service Coordinator and Maintenance Technician.
• Address tenant-related issues and property activities in collaboration with on-site staff.
• Assist in budgeting and financial reporting related to property management.
