Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and ensure the property's physical areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will complete work orders, prep vacants for leasing, manage materials, and document service requests while supporting safety and cost-control initiatives.

Requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, valid driver’s license, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks inventory, supplies, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor on re-ordering.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible.
• Complies with safety policies and may inspect contractor work to verify quality.
• Assists in conducting routine property inspections to identify safety and risk concerns.
