Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings and common areas meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory control, and detailed documentation.

Requirements include EPA refrigerant certifications and state/local technician credentials, plus a valid driver’s license for site operations. Flexible schedules and benefits apply to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required state and local certifications for Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies and code.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling.
• Access materials from the maintenance department, track inventory, and notify re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Contribute to cost control by repairing parts when possible rather than replacing.
