Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical parts of the property meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. The role covers repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks across 368 units on a garden-style property with a Monday–Friday schedule plus on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, managing inventory, and assisting with inspections. EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

Completes resident work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
Prepares vacants for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
Manages materials and tools from the maintenance department and tracks inventory.
Completes documentation for service requests to enable tracking and reporting.
Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs, and beautifying signage.
Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials wisely.
