Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to maintain building interiors and exteriors, perform routine and preventative maintenance, and support property management goals.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and grounds upkeep, with emphasis on safety and quality. Requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.
• State and Local jurisdiction certification requirements per jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing including pre-move-out inspection and punch list.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from maintenance and track inventory; notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation to document and track service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
