Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and manage make-readies for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) and a valid driver’s license, with adherence to safety policies and scheduling flexibility. Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications required for all service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating punch lists; coordinates vendors and materials.
• Manages materials and inventory with the maintenance department; notifies when re-orders are needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
