Job summary

Middleburg Communities in Davenport, FL is hiring a Service Technician to support the Service Manager and Property Manager. You will oversee maintenance, make-readies, and preventive rehab projects to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.

The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, perform safety-conscious work, and deliver on our mission of exceptional service. On-call weekend and after-hours work are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including plumbing, painting, drywall, electrical, and life safety equipment.
• HVAC and CFC Type I/III or Universal certification.
• 2+ years in apartment maintenance or 3+ years in related field.
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written.
• Basic Windows computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and turnover repairs per schedule.
• Housekeeping and grounds work up to 50% of time.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies; track service requests.
• Walk property daily for curb appeal, safety and repairs.
• Respond to on-call and after-hours emergencies as required.
