Job summary

Middleburg Communities is seeking a Service Technician in Florida to support maintenance and ground services across our apartment homes. You will assist the Service Manager and Property Manager, perform preventative maintenance, make-readies, and support safety and curb appeal standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting units, coordinating turnovers, tracking work orders, and ensuring timely resident service while upholding Middleburg's commitment to quality and exceptional resident

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in apartment maintenance including plumbing, painting, drywall, appliance repair, electrical, locks, carpentry, roofs, and life safety equipment.
• HVAC and certifications such as lead, asbestos, renovations/repairs are a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document preventative maintenance, inspections, vacant turns, repairs, and janitorial services.
• Oversee apartment turns and ensure market-ready condition within established downtimes.
• Maintain inventory and document service requests and turnovers.
• Assist with inventory and ordering supplies; operate in a safe, standards-based manner.
