Job summary

Middleburg Communities is seeking a Service Technician to support maintenance and grounds services across our residential properties. The role reports to the Service Manager and Property Manager, assisting with asset upkeep, make-readies, and preventive maintenance to ensure high curb appeal and quality homes.

The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, perform quality work safely, and help deliver on our mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including plumbing, painting, drywall, appliance repair, electrical, locks, carpentry, roofs and life-safety equipment.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use Windows environment.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Oversee apartment turns including resident move-out and renovations.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies; document service requests.
• Walk property daily for curb appeal, safety, and maintenance standards.
• Communicate safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Complete tasks per safety policies and adhere to company values.
