Job summary

Middleburg Communities seeks a Service Technician to support maintenance and grounds services, including make-readies and preventive maintenance for apartment homes. You will assist the Service Manager and Property Manager, ensuring curb appeal and quality living spaces.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, documenting work, managing parts inventory, and delivering responsive resident repairs. This role requires clear communication, safety awareness, and weekend/on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including plumbing, painting, drywall, electrical and life safety equipment.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per schedule.
• Assist with apartment turns and rehab projects to market-ready condition.
• Maintain inventories, document service requests, and safety compliance.
• Provide timely resident repairs and courteous customer service.
• Participate in on-call rotations and safety meetings.
