Job summary

Middleburg Communities is seeking a Service Technician to support maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks across apartment homes. You will assist with turnovers, inspections, and safety compliance while delivering excellent resident service.

Strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks are essential. The role requires on-site work, some after-hours calls, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document preventative maintenance and inspections per schedule.
• Housekeeping and grounds work up to 50% of the time.
• Maintain inventory and supply needs; keep storage areas secure.
• Oversee apartment turns and upgrades with safety and quality standards.
• Enter service requests and schedule turnovers; complete move-out checklists.
• Daily site walk for curb appeal, safety, and maintenance needs.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow company safety policies.
