Job summary

Asset Living in DeLand, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the property’s maintenance program under supervision. The role covers corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work to ensure the property operates smoothly and safely.

The successful candidate will handle on-site maintenance tasks, respond to resident requests, keep accurate logs, and help maintain pools, grounds, and common areas while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance and upkeep of common areas and units.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Assist in scheduling and performing maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain exterior areas, grounds, breezeways, and common facilities.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and chemical logs.
• Follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines; monitor inventory and tools.
