Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in the upkeep of our properties. The role covers corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Responsibilities include regular on-site attendance, responding to requests, performing make-readies, pool maintenance and daily safety checks, while adhering to OSHA guidelines and Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes: corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Carry out make-ready tasks per property objectives under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and service orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect and maintain community grounds, buildings, and units; perform daily checks for hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and accurate records of work performed.
• Participate in on-call emergency coverage and safety trainings as required.
