Job summary

The Breeden Company is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance across our property, including apartment turns, preventative work, building asset care and grounds maintenance. You will help ensure safety, appearance, and operation meet company standards.

Responsibilities include completing work within 48 hours, following safety policies, and maintaining positive interactions with residents, vendors, and team members. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification is advantageous but not required. We will support you to get you trained and certified.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
• Dexterity and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Available to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of the physical condition of the community.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident maintenance requests; work orders completed within 48 hours.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards residents, team members and vendors.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Follow up on service requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect make-ready apartments for move-in quality and company standards.
