Job summary

Westminster-Management is seeking a hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and presentable for residents. You will repair a wide range of systems, perform make-readies, and support preventive maintenance while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical/plumbing/HVAC/carpentry and a valid driver's license; familiarity with work order systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman work.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs; certifications are a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Comfortable using work order systems or mobile apps to track tasks.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro—handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs and prepare units for new residents.
• Keep properties looking their best with painting, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies; rotate on-call shifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape.
• Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan bigger projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns quickly and professionally.
