Job summary

Westminster Management is hiring a Property Maintenance Technician in Fair Lawn, NJ. You will handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, perform make-readies, and maintain property upkeep. A driver’s license is required and you’ll use work order apps to track tasks.

You’ll join a team focused on safety, reliability, and resident satisfaction, with a rotating on-call schedule and opportunities to grow within the property management division.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman work.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliances.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Proficient with work order systems or mobile apps.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents.
• Perform painting, carpentry and general upkeep to keep properties looking great.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top condition.
• Collaborate with property management to plan repairs and larger projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and teams.
