Job summary

Westminster in Mississippi is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You’ll perform repairs from plumbing and electrical work to HVAC and appliance upkeep, and you’ll complete make-readies for incoming residents.

You’ll also handle painting and carpentry, respond to emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule, and work with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan larger projects.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property maintenance or handyman experience.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro—handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Keep properties looking good with painting, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Tackle emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment in top shape.
• Collaborate with property management to prioritize repairs and plan projects.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and teammates.
