Job summary

Westminster is seeking a hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to keep our Norfolk properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You’ll handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry, perform make-readies, and respond to maintenance requests with professionalism.

You’ll work with the property management team on priority repairs, keep systems maintained, and provide excellent customer service while on a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in property maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of repairs including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and appliance maintenance.
• Complete make-readies for incoming residents and ensure property is presentable.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; rotate on-call.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Collaborate with property management to plan repairs and larger projects.
• Deliver strong customer service to residents and team members.
