Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks across property facilities. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, completing make-ready work, inventory management, and keeping common areas in top condition.

A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork with property staff. Applicants should have EPA refrigerant Certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and relevant state certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and fix common property issues.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building defects and systems per policy.
• Complete make-ready inspections and prep vacant units for leasing.
• Track materials, inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform basic cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
