Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building interiors and exteriors meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, preventative maintenance, make-ready preparations for vacant units, and documentation. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for varied hours.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience or willingness to perform hands-on tasks.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems and common areas.
• Ability to follow safety policies and documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Finish make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials, tools, and inventory, and report re-ordering needs to supervisor.
• Document service activities accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist with grounds/amenities maintenance and basic painting or cleaning.
• Support cost-containment by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
