Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance across residential properties. You will handle work orders, conduct preventative maintenance, and assist in making-ready units for new residents. You will also manage inventory, document tasks, and support safety programs on site.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1, II, or Universal and a valid driver's license. It includes robust benefits, on-site housing discounts, PTO, retirement plans, and bonus

Qualifications

Maintenance duties across common areas including repairs, safety compliance, and preventive tasks.
Experience with make-ready processes and resident service requests is a plus.
Ability to document work and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
Prepares vacant apartments for leasing and coordinates required inspections.
Manages materials, stock, and reordering needs with maintenance supervisor.
Documents tasks and closes out service requests accurately.
Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and signage maintenance.
Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
