Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across properties. You will diagnose defects, carry out repairs to uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational standards in resident areas and amenities.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings or weekends. You will complete make-ready tasks, manage inventory, document requests, and support cost-efficient

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification Type I/II or Universal is required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property, as needed.
• OSHA safety training or compliance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares make-ready units for leasing including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Obtains materials and tracks inventory; notifies supervisor about re-order needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible and avoiding waste.
