Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete work orders from resident requests to deliver timely, quality service.

Responsibilities include making-ready vacant units, coordinating with vendors, documenting tasks, and supporting grounds and common areas. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license; onsite

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, from pre-move-out inspection to coordinating vendors and inspecting completed work.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying maintenance for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable tracking and follow-up.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists with cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and upkeep as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when appropriate and using tools correctly.
