Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities and ensure safety and standards are met. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinating with vendors as needed.

You will also manage inventory, document work orders, and assist with cost-control by using parts efficiently. This on-site role requires OSHA safety awareness and proper licensing.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience and ability to diagnose and repair property systems.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures, policies, and codes.
• EPA refrigerant certification and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and tracks inventory while notifying on reorder needs.
• Completes documentation to ensure service requests are properly recorded and tracked.
• Maintains grounds and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing and using materials efficiently.
