Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of our properties, including units, grounds, and common areas. You will respond to service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and assist in the make-ready process for new move-ins.

This role requires hands-on problem-solving and adherence to safety standards. The position involves indoor/outdoor work in various weather conditions, completing accurate paperwork, and coordinating with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance or service experience.
• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform indoor/outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinates with vendors.
• Tracks inventory and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
