Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventive maintenance, preparing vacant units, managing materials, documenting tasks, maintaining grounds, and supporting cost-control initiatives while adhering to safety policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Prepares vacants by completing pre-move-out inspections and punch lists; coordinates vendors.
• Accesses and gathers materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans, paints curbs, and politens as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
