Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems and ensure property standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage preventative maintenance while supporting safe, clean, and welcoming communities.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, managing inventory, documenting requests, and assisting with grounds upkeep and safety protocols. A strong focus on efficient, quality maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions for technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (where applicable).
• CPO certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects, performing repairs, following safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies, and inspecting work.
• Access and track materials from maintenance department; notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately to enable proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs, and performing related tasks.
• Support cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
