Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. The role focuses on completing work orders and preventive maintenance across the community.

You will handle make-ready processes for vacant units, track materials, and maintain accurate service documentation.

Qualifications

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs following safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing via make-ready tasks and punch lists.
• Manages materials, inventory, and communicates re-ordering needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Documents work activities for proper ticketing and tracking.
• Assists in grounds, common areas, and amenities upkeep and cleaning.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
