Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair building systems, assist with make-ready walks, and ensure units and common areas meet quality standards. The role requires handling work orders, purchasing materials, and coordinating with vendors while upholding safety requirements on-site.

The position also covers groundskeeping tasks, routine inspections, and documentation to support efficient property operations.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and ensuring work is completed.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Documents and files service requests timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting, and performing related upkeep as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
