Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the properties meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and help maintain grounds and amenities in good repair.

This role requires working outdoors in all weather, lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Able to complete make-ready inspections and coordinate with vendors.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects from resident requests and scheduled maintenance per policies.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch list.
• Manage materials and inventory, reorder as needed and notify supervisor.
• Document service requests timely and accurately.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing parts instead of replacing when possible.
