Greystar seeks a Service Technician to perform maintenance and make-ready tasks across residential properties. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while coordinating with vendors and management.

Role involves physical duties, documentation, and hands-on repairs to keep grounds, amenities, and units in top condition. Flexible weather exposure and on-site work are expected.

Responsabilités

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing the defect and making repairs per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by performing pre-move-out inspections, creating a punch list, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, return unused items, and notify the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to ensure service requests are documented and tracked.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by trash pickup, pressure-washing breezeways/pool areas, cleaning, and painting curbs/signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools/materials efficiently.
• Complies with safety and risk management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting accidents promptly.
• May periodically inspect work performed by contractors, vendors and service providers to verify quality standards.
• Assists in conducting routine property inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate needs to management.
• Incumbents must be able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods, bend, climb ladders, and work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
