Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and technical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

This role involves diagnosing defects, completing make-readies for new residents, managing inventory and paperwork, and supporting cost-control measures. The position requires flexibility for safety training and potential travel between properties.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/Type 2 or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate property vehicles (golf carts, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing via pre-move-out inspection and punch list.
• Accesses materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Keeps service requests documented and tracked with timely paperwork.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing them when feasible.
• Attends safety meetings and completes OSHA-related training; reports accidents promptly.
• Periodically inspects contractors’ work to verify quality and scope compliance.
