Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to manage and perform service work across the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and high-quality appearance consistent with Greystar standards.

The role involves responding to resident requests, overseeing make-ready processes, coordinating with vendors, and performing preventive maintenance while adhering to policies, safety guidelines, and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience required.
• Experience in property maintenance or building trades.
• Own hand tools and safe tool use required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• EPA HVAC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in common areas and units per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and ensure punch lists completed.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and assist budget planning.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance.
• Support cost-cutting by proper part use.
• Conduct safety meetings and keep MSDS and OSHA compliance.
• Provide responsive, courteous resident service.
